The Alegre Sisters are a harmony driven folk band originally from Susanville, CA. The Alegre Sisters blend elements of jazz, blues, folk and bluegrass into a style all their own. Their performances have been called "awe-inspiring," "beautiful," and "adorable." Mama Alegre taught Caroline Joy and Lauren to sing when they were knee high to a grasshopper, and their luscious, intimate vocals conjure the spirit of family and a true love of sharing music. Their new DIY album 'Songs For Kids' is filled with friendly zombies, lonely little boats, harmonies, and humor meant to engage grown-ups and children alike.

The Alegre Sisters have teamed up with the multi-talented artist Sean Norris, who lends his recording skills, woodwind accompaniment, kazoo stylings, and zombie vox to 'Songs For Kids.'
